The Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) is a super-specialty postgraduate medical training programme conducted under the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The DrNB programme is equivalent to DM/MCh super-specialty degrees as per prevailing medical education regulations.

All DrNB residents are required to undertake a research project and submit a thesis in accordance with NBEMS guidelines. Residents are encouraged to participate in national and international conferences and publish research in peer-reviewed medical journals.
